WORK IS PROCEEDING …

… on the new set of four pieces for CHRONOMETER.  Regular readers of this Blog will hear an echo from a previous posting when the title is revealed.  Riverrun hopes for a release in the early autumn.

Meanwhile, proof checking is complete for THE DRUMMER BOY OF WATERLOO, and casting has taken place for the Aldeburgh production in November.  Megg and I have seen models of the set by Claire Lyth, and they are very exciting indeed.

The summer holidays are almost here, and I am looking forward to some time off.  (One of Karen’s hanging baskets behind jasmine is the picture.)  To refresh this Site for the break, I have just added a new set of excerpts to the Player on the upper right.  There is a new brass piece, an electronic work, some concert music and some library music.  Featured this time are examples from LAST BUS HOME, which fields three characters in the Set.
