… John Mercer’s fascinating new show at the MercerChance Studio Gallery in Hoxton Street. (Not a coincidence in the name: the Mercer of MercerChance is John’s daughter Rachel). John, who owns Riverrun Records, is my producer on many projects, and he is also the other half of CHRONOMETER. Furthermore he has designed many of my CD covers and is currently working on PHAETON. So now you can see why there has been a slight delay in the release of this album. John has put the cover aside temporarily to co-ordinate his exhibition of recent sculptures and drawings – WORMWOOD – which runs until the 26 April.
