AND IT’S OFF TO RIVERRUN TOMORROW …
… to finish off the new tracks, for a release probably in early February. This set is very influenced by sounds and ideas from the Baroque in Spain, France, Italy and Germany, and includes – as intimated in the previous blog – a couple of arrangements.
Preparations for other work of 2015 are proceeding well: the orchestration of DRUMMER BOY should begin soon, arrangements are being made for the brass recordings in the spring, we have heard of the first planned performance of DICK OTTINGTON in November, and a few other projects are stepping into line. I have been back to the gym fairly regularly, but unfortunately my back is bad again and this is getting in the way of the regular exercise which I enjoy (and need!) so much.
